We are very proud to support local charity the 1820 Foundation and our aim at Ascot Care is to raise awareness and funds for this great cause. In August we’ll be hosting a golf event in the North East in aid of the foundation.

This year’s Ascot Golf Cup will take place on Thursday 18th August at the stunning greens of the Championship Colt Course at Newcastle’s Close House Golf.

The 1820 Foundation is Registered Charity (no.1165770) and Social Enterprise, established to support the Armed Forces community in the UK. The aim of the foundation is to help those struggling with the transition from military to civilian life. Primarily the foundation aims to be the go-to organisation for The Armed Forces Community in the North East of England.

On Monday 11th July we’ll be celebrating Cheer up the Lonely Day. At Ascot Care we consider isolation prevention one of our main aims as a company. Follow our steps here and participate in Cheer up the Lonely Day.

This summer we have some fantastic training opportunities for our carers. The five End of Life Training Sessions will take place this July. This is a great chance to not only add to your CV but to add to your knowledge as care workers.
