Prestigious Charity Golf Event
We are very proud to support local charity the 1820 Foundation and our aim at Ascot Care is to raise awareness and funds for this great cause. In August we’ll be hosting a golf event in the North East in aid of the foundation.
This year’s Ascot Golf Cup will take place on Thursday 18th August at the stunning greens of the Championship Colt Course at Newcastle’s Close House Golf. Around 80 Golfers will join us at Close House for delicious bacon sandwiches, tea and coffee on arrival. There’ll be an 18 Hole Texas Scramble Competition with prizes for the Team Winners as well as the winners of Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. We’ll also be meeting after the competition in the Clubhouse for a presentation, raffle and executive two course meal.
The 1820 Foundation is Registered Charity (no.1165770) and Social Enterprise, established to support the Armed Forces community in the UK. The aim of the foundation is to help those struggling with the transition from military to civilian life. Primarily the foundation aims to be the go-to organisation for The Armed Forces Community in the North East of England.
