The illness is caused when the brain is damaged by diseases such as Alzheimer’s or a series of strokes. This month’s newsletters will focus on dementia and different aspects of the disease.

Supporting People with Dementia to Remain in the Workplace

The Equality Act (2010) requires all employers to avoid discrimination and to make reasonable adjustments in the workplace. These adjustments ensure people with dementia are not at any disadvantage at their place of work. With more than 42,000 people aged under 65 suffering from dementia, there are certainly many whom still continue to work following diagnosis. We offer support to clients with dementia however we equally support and advise our own staff through their journeys with any illnesses or disabilities.
