Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week is set to take place this month and Care workers are under more pressure than ever before.
The very nature of care workers is to look out for and to look after other people, because of this carers can often find it hard to prioritise themselves. Everyones wellbeing and mental health matters and the focus of mental health awareness week is to highlight this area and to to support each other, encourage each other, and to help signpost anyone who's struggling in the right direction.
Everyone is currently under pressure in one way or another, friends, colleagues and loved ones. From Monday 18th May until Sunday 24th May, Mental Health Awareness Week will take place, we ask you to join all in Ascot Care and Ascot Care Agency in spreading the word, of reminding everyone of the importance of mental health and removing any stigma attached to seeking help.
Raising awareness of this week helps to show individuals that they are not alone. Speaking with loved ones or organisations such as Samaritans during difficult times can be the first step in improving mental health.
If you or someone you know is suffering with poor mental health or anxiety, there is a huge amount support out there.
