The Blackwell Suite's Grand Opening!

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of welcoming The Mayor of Darlington, Cyndi Hughes to open our brand new, The Blackwell Suite, which is located at The Gardens Care Home.

The Blackwell Suite is a stand-alone 14 bed Mental Health Suite which is ran separately from our older people’s services and offers a nurse led service with high levels of staffing.

We provide a safe and appropriate environment for people who may be living with an acquired brain injury or other mental health conditions, who may present behaviour deemed as challenging to others. The Blackwell Suite may be a home for life, or a stepping stone to more independent living.
