Ascot Care are proud to be supporting Noggin Sport, a community interest company founded by professional rugby playing brothers Conor and Kieran Joyce. Mental health is becoming more and more acknowledged as a serious problem for individuals in high pressure sporting events. Conor and Kieran wanted to do all they could to help raise awareness on this topic, so they created Noggin Sport, raising money by producing and selling a clothing range of hats (beanies and baseball caps) and T-shirts, in a range of colours, designs and specific motif’s for team clothing. All the profits from sales go directly to supporting mental health awareness projects in the UK and Ireland.

At Ascot care, we see the problems many people with mental health difficulties face on a daily basis and see it as our duty to help in any way we can. Ascot Care help young people with anxiety and depression, through charity work and sponsorship as an addition to the continual care we provide to our elderly residents in our very own care homes living with depression, dementia and Alzheimer’s. Ascot Care has been supporting Noggin Sport by buying beanies for the coaches at Durham University Rugby Club, specially designed in the teams colours with the university emblem and motto ‘Fundamenta Eius Super Montibus sanctis’. The coaches will be proud to wear their beanies on these cold evenings on the sidelines. Durham University has also supported the scheme by buying beanies for the players.
