St Anne's autobiography project

St Anne’s Care Home in Whitley Bay is taking part in an exciting project where everyone can tell their story.

Care staff, residents and their families are invited to discuss their connection to St Annes in order to build an autobiography of the Home.

The story will be produced by Shana who holds an MA in Creative Writing and wishes to explore  the power of the spoken word to enhance self-esteem and self-worth, and the benefit of speaking and being listened to in terms of mental health.

We’re sure this project is going to be an exciting opportunity for all our residents to have their say in their journey and we can’t wait to see the finished piece.
