Ascot Care Raise Funds for ‘Mission Christmas, Cash for Kids’

Cash for Kids is Bauer Radio’s network of local charities.  Operating in 22 regions across the country, their mission is to provide sick and underprivileged children in our communities a better and brighter future, living life to the full and achieving their full potential.  The charity raises millions each year for children who may have suffered abuse, neglect or in need of extra care or guidance.

There are many fundraising events both on and off the air, which encourage many areas of the local community, from individuals to companies, to get on board and support in any way they can.

Ascot Care have been busy raising money for Cash for Kids along with generous donations and support from Durham University Rugby Club, and local businessmen Andrew Muat and Damian Wall played in a fundraising golf match.

At this time of year, a Christmas gift may be all it takes to put a smile on a disadvantaged child’s face. As well as money raised by Ascot Care and its supporters for children in our area, a vast selection of fantastic toys have been bought and generously donated, which we hope will bring happiness and hope into their lives.

We would like to thank everyone involved from the Ascot Team and our supporting local businesses for their time, help and donations, in this important and worthwhile cause.
