Main Job Functions
We are looking for a professional, compassionate and reliable Care Assistant / Home Carer to work with our service users in Northallerton to give them the life that they want, providing them with safe and effective care within their own home. Assistance with everyday tasks such as personal care, showering, bathing, cooking, medication administration and general housekeeping are some of the duties that you would be expected to undertake.
You will be travelling to homes within the local area so the use of your own vehicle is desirable as well as the ability to work independently. It is important that accurate and detailed records are made regarding each service user so a good level of literacy is required. As your role will involve liaising on a daily basis with service users, other care staff, service user families and Health Professionals your communication and customer service skills should be second to none.
We work 7 days a week from 7.00am to 10.00pm and we can offer you a flexible work pattern, as well as on going training and development opportunities.
